Checklists
From UniWiki
This page is for collecting checklists for EVE.
The checklists on this page are intended to help you remember what to do in a situation. They are neither training tools nor policy statements: They offer no explanation or justification. They exist only to remind you of things you should already know to do.
When working through a checklist, at each step, you should either perform the action, verify that the condition is met, or understand why the step does not apply to your situation.

Creating a Good Checklist
There are several types of checklists, but if you want to create the type of checklist on this page, here are a few hints:
- A short checklist that leaves out details is better than a comprehensive checklist that no one uses.
- A good checklist is a trusted guide to routine necessities, freeing the checklist user's mind for important matters.
- Checklists are not authoritative, only useful.
- Checklists do not need to explain themselves. That's training, and it comes elsewhere.
- Checklists should follow policy but need not justify it.
- If a step might not apply for a simple and obvious reason---e.g. "Drones in drone bay" on a ship with no drone bay---don't bother to explain. Trust the user to figure that out.
- Try to minimize activity by grouping tasks that use the same interface (e.g. fitting window).
- Test your checklist to see if it makes sense and goes quickly.
