Class Information

General Information

This class provides some useful guidelines for being the boss of a mining fleet.

• Duration: 1 hour
• Location: Docked up safely in a station in Aldrat

Student requirements:

• Install and register on Mumble at least one hour before the class. No mic required. (Use the guide by Dierdra Vaal)
• Access to the Class.E-UNI chat channel
• Any ship fit with a mining laser
• Set up your ship overview settings to UNI standards
• Suitable skills to fly your ship and operate a mining laser
• Please be online 15 minutes before beginning of the class

Additional information: This class is lecture and Q&A only, followed by a practical mining fleet operation demonstration

Notes for the teacher

Required materials:

• Class.E-UNI chat channel, to receive questions and post relevant links
• Suitable fleet management skills
• A ship outfitted for mining operations

Rules & regulations for the practical exercise

• Do not speak on TS unless permitted by the instructor. Questions and queries must be asked through the fleet/class chat.
• All instructions should be followed in an orderly fashion to insure that all participants have equal opportunity to learn.
• Save off-topic discussions and questions (e.g. Mining Drones 2 vs. Harvesters) and other unnecessary details until the end of class.
