Main article: Homefront operation

Homefront operations are Cosmic Anomalies in highsec that require a group of pilots covering specific roles from standard roles like DPS and logi to less common roles in fleets such as hacking and hauling. Each having its own scenario and requiring its own group composition and strategy. The acceleration gate on the entrance allows only certain types of ships depending on particular type.

Mission details

Suspicious Signal: Secure the Intel

The objective of this site is to destroy a single tower-like structure located at the center. At the start, the structure is either invulnerable or cloaked, and it only becomes vulnerable once three hackable arrays (data cans) are successfully hacked. Each hacked array activates a 90-second timer. If all three are hacked around the same time, this creates a 90-second damage window on the tower. Tower durability is estimated at approximately 337k HP.

Be advised that enemy ships will aggressively target and destroy any drones deployed during the engagement, making drone usage a risky choice for capsuleers who rely heavily on them for damage or utility.

Fleet size & composition

  • Optimal fleet size: 5 ships
  • Fleet composition: T1 Cruisers (DPS), T1 Logistic Cruisers (Logi)

Common group compositions are 5 DPS with strong active tank, 3 of which have Data Analyzer equipped; or 4 DPS with 1 Logi.

Type of ships allowed

This homefront operation takes place in a deadspace pocket with an acceleration gate that has ship restrictions.

  • Tech 1 frigates, navy and pirate frigates
  • Tech 1 destroyers, navy and pirate destroyers
  • Tech 1 cruisers
  • Tech 1 haulers, including Squall
  • Ventures

Mission parameters

  • Time-limit: 20 minutes
  • Longshot Relay Health
  • Hackable Array (A) (B) (C): 90 seconds

Finding sites

Homefront operations are Cosmic Anomalies located in empire owned High Security systems, mostly focused around trade hubs or career agent systems.

  • Opportunities window > Homefront Operations tab: will render a list of the available homefronts within a limited range.
  • Agency window > Homefront Operations tab: will give you a more detailed filtering ability that allows you to search any region.

Rewards

Rewards for Suspicious Signal sites come in two forms: (1) ISK payout upon site completion, and (2) site-specific loot from the hackable arrays that can be sold to NPC buy orders in certain regions of highsec.

Payout amount follows the standard 5-pilot Homefront Operation payout structure, giving the maximum payout per pilot of 15,486,410 ISK with a fleet of 5.

Graph showing ISK Payout per Pilot vs Number of Pilots for 5-person Homefronts, max is 15,486,410 ISK at 5 players
