This is a depcrecated class syllabus, intended as historical record for the teaching department.

Creating syllabi is no longer our process for new classes, and no classes in the syllabus library are considered current. They are here for historical purposes only, as well as an optional starting point for designing new classes. Please do not assume any of the classes you find here have slides, or have even been taught for many years. If you do use information in a syllabus, ensure that you have brought it up to date with contemporary EVE.

Corporation Hangars

Corporation Hangars are a privilege. Use them wisely. There are several procedures and rules about using the HSC Hangars:

  • Freshman title needed for Freshman Hangers, Sophomore Title needed for Sophomore Hangars, those without a title should ask in HSC chat or Mumble for someone to get items for them.
  • Remember that hangars are for all E-UNI members so you can take what you need at the moment (fitting, ship, ammunition, skillbook, etc) instead of making some stock.
  • In order to get some items from containers, you need to unlock the item stack. After you get what you need lock the stack again.
  • The items you take from containers are yours, you don’t need to put them back, however, if you want to give them back, Repackage the item first and then put it into «Alpha Donations Container».
  • Industry Hangar contains Bluprint Originals (BPOs) that you can copy, but make sure that the copy will be placed to «Alpha Blueprint Copies» container. Please check HSC BPO Library Guide before using the BPOs.

Too much to learn, always look for new learning opportunities and experiences.

  • Combat against Enemies (Wartargets, Gankers, and Suspects):
    • EVE University is almost always at war.
      • Mercenary groups and pirate organizations declare war on EVE University often since they know that we have a large stock of new pilots all around New Eden.
      • War between two corporations can take place in any system with any security level and opposing corporation pilots are free to engage each other without the intervention of CONCORD.
    • Always check «Active Wars» tab in «Corporation Window»
    • So, those wartargets (WTs) are wandering around trade routes and from time to time they wander around HSC to hunt down members.
    • We form Quick Response Fleets against hostile capsuleers and enemy incursions to fight back and defend our pilots & operations.
    • Create a Hauler Alt for your hauling needs! Check Hauler Alt Guide!

Standing Fleet

  • What is a "Standing Fleet"?
    • The standing fleet is for everyone in HSC, regardless of skill level, ship type, or the activities being engaged in.
    • Generally, its members are doing different things, and the fleet helps members find and help each other.
    • When needed, it allows the HSC to quickly form part of the standing fleet into a Quick Reaction Force to conduct defensive or offensive operations.
  • Why is it important?
    • Dedicated chat channel.
    • Being "in fleet" allows you and others to warp to fleet-mates that are in the same system. This is critical if you need help with a mission, are being ganked, and for offensive fleet operations.
    • The Standing Fleet is often used for more difficult combat sites and expeditions and for providing mining boosts.
    • Joining the Standing Fleet is a good habit and lets you explore fleet dynamics in a stress-free environment.
  • How to join a Standing fleet?
    • Click on "chevron" symbol in NeoCom and look for the fleet you want to join. Then just click and confirm.
