## Afterburner cap skills

I don't know if people would like to change the page to include this info - it's a bit more complex than just "conserve cap" - thus this comment vs just adding the info.

Afterburner skill: 5% reduction to Afterburner duration. 10% reduction to Afterburner capacitor use.

This change went in with Retribution expansion (December, 2012) - changing it from a 10% longer duration.

Complexity: 5% reduction to Afterburner duration *INCREASES* capacitor load (faster cycle time means faster use of cap) while 10% reduction *DECREASES* use per cycle.

Formula: (Base Cap Usage * (1 - AB Skill * 10%)) / (Base Cycle * (1 - AB Skill * 5%)) = Cap Usage

It comes in at about %5.26 savings per skill level in AB and this would also impact Fuel Conservation skill -- reduction in the effective savings due to faster cycle time.

It is a capacitor savings but the trade-offs make it trickier to calculate with respect to value-add (think about it this way; if you overheat an AB... so on and so forth).

As such I'm not sure if you'd want to include this in a 101 area.
