In the Items list you can repackage an item by right-clicking and selecting 'repackage'. This will clean the item back to its basic condition. Ships are stripped and rigs are removed. Items are repackaged to prepare them for trading. You also repackage items so that you can stack them and clean up your Items list. All the items in a stack must be exactly the same.
