Mission briefing

<Corporation> wants a massive shipment of Augumene right away, so we need you to get out there and bring some back. They seem to think they might be able to find some use for the stuff for chemical warfare, I guess? But that's just between you and me, right? Anyway, I've been looking for a miner who's experienced enough, with the right kind of ship, and maybe you fit the bill. Time is critical on this one. There's a big bonus for you if you can bring it in fast enough. Seriously, we need a mountain of this stuff, so get on it. I've uploaded the location to your People & Places databank.

About Augumene

Augumene is an extremely toxic ore; fortunately, it is also extremely rare. It can be mined safely from a starship, but proves very deadly when handled directly unless one takes extremely expensive safety precautions — which more than negates any profit to be made from reprocessing the stuff. For this reason, even black market operators generally won't deal in it, and it is never found for sale on the open market.
