Using a few scripts on Mímir, E-UNI has the corporation calendar feed published as an iCalendar feed, which is usable on a number of other applications and systems

Members may then add the feeds to their normal calendar software, phones and PDAs to help them track what events and classes are running.

Note that 'Classified' events do not show any information about the event, only its existence. In this case, members should check the forums for full information on the event.

Adding and Editing Events

The ability to add and edit events is open to members with Student status or above.

To add corp and alliance events to the calendar, just add them as you would for your own event, but select the "Corp" or "Alliance" radiobuttons.

Some points of note:

  • The calendar can be edited both in-game and on EVE Gate.
  • Corporation calendar should be used for Corp Events (the in-game kind), classes, and so on shorter than 24 hours.
  • If an event is cancelled, change the title to [CANCELLED] and it will dissapear from the feed. Do not just delete events!
  • Alliance events are reserved for special purposes, such as wars, and will typically only be added by management.
  • Marking an event as "Important" will flag it as 'classified' in the calendar feed.
  • Ensure you include the URL to any relevent forum posts.
  • Don't spam the calendar or you'll find yourself in trouble.
  • The calendar editing role also allows you to edit and post Corporation and Alliance bulletins. These shouldnt be messed with!
