Harvester fleets are PvE combat fleets run in C3 wormholes. Most of the content on this wiki page is from a post by Narthe Raytei[1] on the WHC forums, which itself references a C3 WH blitz concept from another site. There are also segments from an event post on the HSC forums by Ringo Degu[2].

What is it?

  • This a very quick way of running C3 sites. Quick, efficient, and fun.
  • This post is an update to an old original concept[3] for current times, prices, and patches.

Why is it?

Currently running sites is a mixture of kitchen sink armour or solo site running. What this aims to do is bring people together and clear sites faster for everyone whilst maintaining a profitable experience using disposable ships. Another reason for this setup is to increase inclusivity for the campus, allowing anyone to jump in and get involved.

Things to remember

  • Bring MTUs
  • Don't shoot sentries (they give no loot and you can rep them easily)
  • Listen to the FC
  • Pay attention to D-scan
  • Watch for fresh signatures

Fittings

Ringo Degu

Ringo Degu

Gunbros: The job of these guys is to smash sleeper battleships to pieces. Not that easy to do because sleeper battleships hit hard and are tanky as hell. Strategy will simply be to orbit the anchor and be sure to target the primary. Oh, and broadcast for reps, you’ll need to do that a lot.

Narthe Raytei

Gunbros:

  • Even with Meta guns, all these ships are effective which makes this very accessible for Newbros, Experiencedbros and Richbros! Even Poorbros too!
  • After insurance these ships are very cheap to lose and income can be expected to be between 120mil/hr to 150mil/hr per person (site availability will affect this).
  • All the Gunbros will sit still and fire on the cruisers and battleships (whilst minding the triggers) as the sleepers will come to you.

Narthe Raytei

Swatterbros:

  • This ship is the one that kills everything the Gunbros find hard to track.
  • Only a single one is needed and its job is purely to kill the frigates (whilst minding the triggers).
  • Make sure you're keeping transversal up on the battleships.

Ringo Degu

Swatterbros: Your job is (while paying attention to triggers) killing all frigates. C3 WH frigates have some nasty webs, neuts and all sorts of horrendous stuff, they need to die quickly and the combat battlecruisers can’t hit them. Once the frigates are dead (… while paying attention to triggers!), move on to cruisers.

Narthe Raytei

Logibros:

  • These ships are essential to stop you losing those nice new shiny ships.
  • The Scythe is run solo for Anomalies (Green/Blue sites) and the Ospreys are used for Data and Relics (can do Anom's too). You need to remember to never run both onboard and outboard reps at the same time and to keep yourself moving with the AB on.
  • Drones are a must for both ships (level 1 minimum, level 3 recommended).
