The UniWiki will soon be removing its repository of ship fittings. This notice is to provide you with an opportunity to save your favorite fits. The removal process is expected to commence via automated script on the weekend of 8/8/2020.

Although EVE University has a long history in - and is fairly well-known throughout - New Eden, this does not mean we should not engage with the wider community in informing new and old members of our existence and purpose. Public relations is an important part of all major corps and alliances, although in EVE it is more often than not known as propaganda.

Where to discuss EVE?

Apart from just informal discussion in in-game channels, there are many out-of-game mediums to use for talking about EVE and E-UNI, some of which are very popular with capsuleers and some less so.

Please note this extract from our rules:
  • UNI members can post and take part in other external discussions related to EVE University itself, e.g. on the official EVE forums, Reddit, Twitter or elsewhere. However please note our Code of Conduct, specifically being honest, treating all pilots (in and out of corp) with respect and keeping communications free of inappropriate content - remember you are representing EVE University to the world.
  • Please make sure you only speak for yourself as an individual, not for the corporation as a whole; if you feel a certain discussion requires director input please bring it to the attention of the management.

Blogging about your activities is very popular in EVE, there are so many that the unofficial list at is a rather large page and still incomplete!

You can set up a free blog at, although there are many other blog creation tools out there.

Write for EVE University's front page

If you don't want the effort and/or costs involved to set up your own blog, why not write for our front page?

Searching the hashtags #eveonline or #tweetfleet will produce many EVE tweeters - including seemingly most of CCP's developers - and CCP's official account(s). The 'proper' EVE Online hashtag is #eveonline, although #tweetfleet is the common term for Twitter based capsuleers.

Twitter does not care whether your account name or display name is your real name, and so many players set up accounts for their characters and communicate in this way.

To be added to this list, tweet (or direct message) Kivena.

EVE University's Twitter account

You can find our Twitter account here, where we post events, news and similar items of interest. If you are a member of EVE University and wish to tweet from our account, you should first be a semi-regular tweeter yourself, a current member and graduate of EVE University, and be on the list above.

There is a popular subreddit dedicated to eve at /r/eve, where many well-known capsuleers can be found as well as plenty of CCP developers. You can also add flairs (small icons) to your reddit name, and the E-UNI corporation icon is available.

Vote brigading (asking your corp to upvote your posts/comments) is not allowed.

EVE Online and EVE University both maintain Facebook pages, and there is a large unofficial discussion group for EVE Online here.

Because of Facebook's policy of only allowing real names, it is not a major discussion medium for capsuleers. You may find a few capsuleers there, flying under the radar of Facebook's policy enforcement, but setting up an account for your character is technically against their terms & conditions.
