Locating & Difficulty

The Serpentis Provincial HQ is a Cosmic Signature of the Unrated Complex type, occupied by the Serpentis pirate faction. It can be found via exploration by probing in Nullsec systems. For location details see Pirate Faction Occupancy Chart.

The site consists of a volume of space with an acceleration gate and contains various structures and their defending pirates. Using the gate allows access to other areas within the site. When attacked, the defenders may send multiple waves of reinforcements. Each group's appearance is triggered by the destruction of members of the previous group. The names and amount of ships listed may vary slightly, but will always be of Battleship class or smaller.

This site's acceleration gate allows only Battleship class ships or lower and their Tech 2 equivalents to enter the site.

The Acceleration Gate "Gate to the Sarparti Luxury Lodge" remains locked after destroying the initial spawn. It may be unlocked if you have a Shadow Serpentis Crystal Tag in your cargo hold when you attempt to operate the gate, or alternatively it you may destroy the Core Defense Officer's Quarters to permanently unlock it. Be warned, doing so will cause heavy reinforcements to arrive.

The initial spawn consists of 5 Siege Blaster Sentries which constitute the main threat. They will deal significant damage to any ship large and slow enough for them to hit. It is highly recommended to completely clear this initial spawn prior to assaulting the station.

The two reinforcement waves may be triggered seperately by aggressing the Sarparti Luxury Lodge with a non-damaging hostile module such as a Target Painter. Otherwise, the second reinforcement wave can be triggered very quickly after the first, resulting in a combined spawn with high incoming damage.

Escalation

After killing Shadow Serpentis BS or Sarpati Luxury Lodge you might get the escalation Serpentis Secrets:

On warp in:
"As the dust settles from the battle, you receive a transmission from someone claiming to be a local vigilante who congratulates you on a job well done. Your computers run a check on his ship ID´s and other info they can gather on him in such a short period of time, but come up with nothing. He is at least not a part of any pirate faction, nor seems he to represent any of the official states in the galaxy. This person continues to welcome you to the area and offers to point you to some other Serpentis bases he knows about and have been a menace for the local population. If you want to come and meet him, he will lead the way."
