I am new the the WHC and I have a few questions.

I have almost no experience in PVP, but I hope to get some while in Campus.

But to my questions:

I brought a BattleCruiser with a fit that I took from this thread: http://forum.eveuniversity.org/viewtopic.php?f=236&t=65361 or the UniWiki article (they are the same). The thread says that this is a C5 PVE fit. Why these two Modules, Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I and Faint Warp Disruptor I? Is it because you always have to expect PVP in a WH and you better be prepared? Could I bring this ship to a PVP fight?

Is this ship strong enough to take care of the sleeper rats in the innuendo ore sites? Solo I mean, so i can clear them out and mine them in a venture.

If I can fit Tech 2 armor repairers, would it be better fly an active armor tank fit?

Because of my lack of PVP experience, it is quite likely that I will be the first that gets blown up in a PVP fight. This is probably going to happen a lot in the first time. So I would like to bring some really cheap ships until I get a little more comfortable. I was thinking EWAR Frigates. I know that I would probably not contribute much to that fight, but I could be in it and learn. Does that make any sense? If so, can someone suggest some frigate fits?
