A POS Refinery Array will only handle a single ore at a time, so it is best to create batches of ores and only run complete batches.

With the Crius expansion, the Refinery Yields were adjusted to <Low>, <Mid> and <High>.  They were also allowed to be affected by skills.  In addition to these changes

==Refinery Output==

To compute the output from the refinery, you will need to know the Equipment Efficiency (EqptEff), your current level in Reprocessing (ReprocLvl), Reprocessing Efficiency (ReprocEff), the Ore specific skill (OreLvl) and the bonus of the Implant (Implant) you are using.  When using the bonus of the implant, take the percentage and divide by 100 to get the "Implant" value (%/100 = Implant).  This information will be used to compute your Effective Efficiency (EffectiveEff).<br /><br />

EffectiveEff = EqptEff x (1 + (ReprocLvl x 0.03)) x (1 + (ReprocEff x 0.02)) x (1 + (OreLvl x 0.02)) x (1 + Implant)<br /><br />

To calculate the output, we will need to know a few additional things.  We will need the result from the equation above, the Ore we are reprocessing and the maximum yield of each mineral per batch of 100 ore units (MaxYieldMineral) which can be obtained from the [[Reprocessing]] page.  Keep in mind that we need 100 ore units per refining batch, so if we put a quantity of ore units that is not a multiple of 100, the remainder will be given back to you.  Please not that this process is similar for Ice, however, you only need 1 unit of ice to be able to refine it.<br /><br />

MineralYield = (OreUnits / 100) x MaxYieldMineral x EffectiveEff<br /><br />

The following is a break down of the output from refining a single batch of uncompressed ore at a fully upgraded Minmatar POS.  A fully upgraded Minmatar POS has an Equipment Efficiency of about 60%.  Taking maximum level on skills and implants into account you get an Effective Efficiency of about 88%<br />
