Although there are X empire LP stores -- XX Amarr, XY Caldari, YX Gallente, YY Minmatr -- there are only 4 unique types of LP stores per faction. One is a Faction Warfare store; all of the other LP stores in an empire faction are a copy of one of three LP stores. CLP cannot be exchanged to Faction Warfare stores, and has a conversion rate of 1 CLP to 0.8 Corporate LP for all empire stores.

// Audience: / People who don't know what LP is, answer in intro -- 30 seconds of reading / Mission runners who want to know what to cash out to -- answer in first two sections, less than 5 minutes of reading / Traders who want to buy & sell CONCORD LP -- answer to every question ever, up to 30 min or reading, and supplemental materials

// Make intro more obvious and clear

Loyalty Points (LP) are rewards provided by certain PvE activities, including mission running, incursions, and encounter surveillance systems.

LP are corporation-specific, and can be spent at that corporation's LP stores for certain rewards. LP awarded by CONCORD (CLP) are the exception -- they exchanged for nearly any other corporation's LP.

//Place this somewhere relevant A 0.8 exchange rate means that you will recieve 8 faction LP for every 10 CONCORD LP

Uses and Effects of Loyalty Points

At the time of this writing, March 2014, most corporation's LP are worth between 800 and 1,100 ISK / LP, and CONCORD LP are worth between 1,000 and 1,300 ISK / LP.

Uses and Purchases

Items you can purchase

Types of LP stores

// Make this a summary of a separate supporting article Main article List of LP stores

Amarr LP stores:

  • Direct CONCORD LP store: You can directly buy items from the CONCORD LP store -- all % bonus (ZZZ 601-606, etc) generic hard wiring implants seeded by NPC LP stores, all basic atribute implants (+1 thru +5), meta capital ship mod blueprints
  • Exchange to navy stores: At an exchange ratio of 8 Navy LP for every 10 CONCORD LP, you can trade to any non-FW empire LP store and use them normally. This exchange is not reversible. Allows for purchases of faction modules.
    • Exchange to non-navy high sec stores: Non-navy stores located in highsec allow a 4 LP for every 10 CLP. This includes Sisters Of Eve, ORE, Thukker Mix, and other independent high-sec LP stores.
  • Null Sec Pirate sores: You cannot trade CONCORD LP to nullsec pirate corporations without highsec offices.

Trading and Purchasing

Although CLP cannot be directly traded, the items bought with CLP can be. As such a number of incursion runners will save up CLP and sell it in bulk to brokers
