== Exploration Loadout ==
Here I collect all the info i can get on loadouts for exploration ships.
Note a dual setup: scanner / site runner is always better esp. in lowsec, but not always at hand.
=== Sensor Strength ===
All ships have one in common: they need scanning equipment. Best for that is a frigate with scanning bonuses. But for the role of running all-in-one other ships need to be fitted. So the question is how much sensor strenght do I need to scan down my quicy sites?
The answer is: around 70, or higher (todo add math)
Now lets see how one can find out what sensor strength a fit has:
http://explorationalmanac.blogspot.com/2010/06/how-do-i-check-my-probes-sensor.html
Items to improve the sensor strength when fitting:
* Sisters Launchers
* Sisters Probes
* Gravimetric Rigs
* Skills
* Implants
To give comparison values on sensor strenght we need a character with realistic skills (all V is not very realistic, although getting the scanning skills up should be on your plan)
Lazy L3 Lex:
Astrometrics IV (needs to be at IV to get the Pinpointing Skill)
Pinpointing, Aquisition, Rangefinding all to III
'''NOTE: the rest of the stats are at all lvl V!'''

Exploration Loadout

Here I collect all the info i can get on loadouts for exploration ships. Note a dual setup: scanner / site runner is always better esp. in lowsec, but not always at hand.

Sensor Strength

All ships have one in common: they need scanning equipment. Best for that is a frigate with scanning bonuses. But for the role of running all-in-one other ships need to be fitted. So the question is how much sensor strenght do I need to scan down my quicy sites? The answer is: around 70, or higher (todo add math)

Now lets see how one can find out what sensor strength a fit has: http://explorationalmanac.blogspot.com/2010/06/how-do-i-check-my-probes-sensor.html

Items to improve the sensor strength when fitting:

  • Sisters Launchers
  • Sisters Probes
  • Gravimetric Rigs
  • Skills
  • Implants

To give comparison values on sensor strenght we need a character with realistic skills (all V is not very realistic, although getting the scanning skills up should be on your plan)

Lazy L3 Lex: Astrometrics IV (needs to be at IV to get the Pinpointing Skill)

Pinpointing, Aquisition, Rangefinding all to III

NOTE: the rest of the stats are at all lvl V!
