Air Show! is a five-part mission involving both courier objectives and combat against Rogue Drones.

Part 1

Level 1
Type Courier
Objective Acquire Air Show Entrance Badge 0.1 m3
Mission briefing
Congratulation! You've been invited to participate in the <faction> <faction> joint air show. You just have to show off your piloting skills with some fancy maneuvers. Nothing you can't handle. Oh, you need to go pick up your Entrance Badge.

Part 2

Level 1
Type Encounter
Objective Fly to each of several beacons in a deadspace pocket.
Extra Must be piloting a shuttle.
Mission briefing
Your first event is just to fly around the audience. Don't get too excited, everything is carefully choreographed. You have to fly out to a beacon. Once you reach the beacon, that one will go quiet and the next one will appear. Make the whole circuit, and your first act is done. Simple, yeah?

Oh, and make sure you're flying a shuttle. You received one for signing up, but really any shuttle will do.

The pilot will be directed to a deadspace pocket with collidable objects, but no hostiles.

There are 8 beacons in total. Beacons 1, 4, and 7 may require some amount of manual piloting to get to, as they are located in and around a hollow asteroid. It can also be helpful to ensure that beacons are visible in the overview.

Part 3

Level 1
Type Encounter/Courier [Verify]
Objective Retrieve the stranded pilot.
Extra Must be piloting a shuttle.
Mission briefing
Hang on to that thought. I'm getting word that one of our stunt craft just burst into flames. I told them we were overloading the systems too much! Now we're…

Wait…yes, the pilot ejected successfully, but his pod is damaged. He can't make his way back under his own power.

<Name>, get out there and bring that pilot back. I'm not losing a pilot.

The pilot will be directed to a deadspace pocket with no hostiles.

Warp in, move to the damaged pod, pick up the stranded pilot, and return.

Part 4

Level 1
Type Encounter
Objective Destroy the target drones

Damage to resist Electromagnetic damage EM(46%) / Thermal damage Th(54%)
Mission briefing
This is the big combat section. We've got some drones flying around that you're going to pop. This is live fire, but it shouldn't be too dangerous. Just take out any drone you see. The people will love it.

Oh, and do note that you must fly something with weapons this time. Your shuttle will not cut it.

No aggro on warp-in. All ships in a given group will attack will aggro when any member of that group is attacked, but each group aggros separately. Group 5 will auto-aggro on spawn. Mission is completed upon killing Group 5. Ships are restricted to: Frigate, Shuttle, Corvette, Assault Frigate, Destroyer, Covert Ops, Interceptor, Stealth Bomber, Expedition Frigate, Logistics Frigate

Part 5

Level 1
Type Encounter
Objective Give the crowd a show by flying to each beacon as it appears.
Mission briefing
So what you're going to be doing is an old fashioned tower-buzz. It's rather simple. I'll give you a series of nine start and end points. Fly between these points. This will take you past the onlookers, giving them a good buzz.

If you have the skills and equipment, you can use a Micro-Warp Drive (MWD) for this. It's not required, but you'll go crazy fast.

Note: You will have to add Large Collidable Objects to your Overview to see these mission specific beacons. The first one will be called Beacon 1.

Sound in Space Because soundless space is not cool.

You need to fly by the various beacons.
