Standing Orders

Currently, the staff running DUST University on a day to day basis is small. Positions will soon be opening up. Watch your in game mail for details.

So for the time being we're operating on the honour system with our Mercs helping out each other.

There are however some Standing Orders. These are just common sense rules but it's worth having them listed for reference.

Voice Chat

Voice chat should be enabled as described here. A mic is not a requirement for joining DUST University but voice chat should be enabled so orders given in Squad Chat and Team Chat can be heard from either your TV speaker or Home Cinema system. A mic IS a requirement if you want to be a Squad Leader.

Be Respectful

Racial, sexist, and otherwise hurtful language is not tolerated in either Voice or Chat Channels operated in Dust University. The occasional F-bomb in the heat of battle is tolerated. Constant swearing is most certainly not. Remember, the rule is if you don't hear it on The Simpsons, you don't say it here.

Squad Up

Don't fight alone. You'll die more often. X up in Corp chat if you want to join an existing squad. If there isn't one, start your own. If you have space on your squad then advertise the fact in Corp chat. The only stipulation is that Squad Leaders have a mic. See above.

Ask Questions

If there is some aspect to Dust you're unfamiliar with, then ask. We are a training Corporation after all. Please be patient in explaining something to a new member that you'd consider obvious. We were all new once.
