Dread Assault

Mission

An empire dreadnought is being deployed to deal with problems in the region. It is your fleet’s task to make sure the dreadnought is able to succeed in destroying the enemy structure by boosting its capacitor sufficiently so that it can use its superweapon. You will have 20 minutes to prevent mission failure.

Optimal Fleet Size / Example fleet compsitions

The Dread Assault homefront aims to fill the capacitor of a friendly Dreadnought to full 3 times (30,000 cap each time). After each time there is a 90 second period while the Dreadnought attacks a structure and is not ready to receive cap (Siege mode).

Enemy ships apply neuts to the Dreadnought, so it is recommended to bring DPS ships and T1 Logistic cruisers with 3-4 medium remote cap transfers and maintain cap chain with one of them (Example cap chain cruisers Osprey, Augoror).

This 5 man fleet homefront is found throughout high-security Empire space. There are regional differences in the site’s enemies, damage types and EWAR.

Hostiles

A fleet composition of frigates, destroyers, cruisers and battlecruisers will be in the site on arrival. They will focus on a single capsuleer ship at a time, starting with the first ship to land in the site, and will occasionally switch targets as a group. The exception to this is ships with the Corruptor, Activist, Errant or Blood name prefix who will immediately begin shooting any drones that are launched, but will shoot the currently focused capsuleer ship if there are no drones in space.

The hostile fleet is composed of a random selection of the following ships.

Rewards

Rewards for Dread Assault sites consists of raw ISK payout upon completion, following the standard 5 man fleet payout graph resulting in a 15,486,410 ISK payout per pilot not counting bounties for killing NPC's.
