WH-Space
Ratting in WH-space (also known as J-space) is more rewarding, yet possesses much bigger risk. Main profit comes from:
- Blue Loot - special items dropped by Sleepers - NPCs leaving in WH-space. Blue loot - is not used in game for any other purpose other than selling to NPC traders.
- Salvage - used for T2 and T3 production (https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/User:Dama_arishe/Wormholes_100 Sleeper loot and salvage)
Main differences:
- No local - you don't see if there is anybody else in system
- Need to understand WH-mechanic: https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Wormholes, https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/User:Dama_arishe/Wormholes_100
General Safety Recommendations=
- You need to be paranoid
- Keep DScanning CONSTANTLY
- If there are signatures further than 14 AU - this is not enough
- Watch signatures - as soon as new spawned - check it
- more in at https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/User:Dama_arishe/Wormholes_100 How to be (somewhat) safe in w-space
Sites Types
- Combat Anomalies - similar to Combat Sites in K-Space: don't require to be scanned
- Ore Anomalies - asteroid belts in WH-space
- Gas Signatures - gas sites, contains gas; sleepers are spawned at 15-25 minute after site activation
- Data Signatures - data sites, have sleepers which are main source of profit; contain cans which are usually worthless hacking (exception is only Server DataBank site which has "Talocan Battleship" relic container worth hacking only)
- Relic Signatures - relic sites, similar to data sites are worthless hacking, but have good income from killing sleepers
- Ghost Sites - exploration sites that are hard to hack and almost impossible to combat, more details are: https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Ghost_Sites
- More details at https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/User:Dama_arishe/Wormholes_100 "Cosmic anomalies and signatures" and https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Wormhole_sites
