Hi! I noticed that you're working on UniWiki:Magic14Deleted, and you seem to have created a lot of somewhat strange redirects. Also, there was already a page about the "Magic 14" skills on the wiki (The Magic 14). I was wondering if I could help you? What were you trying to do? Cheers, Noemie Belacqua 13:42, 1 December 2016 (CST)

Yeah, I didn't see that The Magic 14 was a page when I started working on it. How do I delete the pages I created on 1/12/2016?
Don't sweat it :) This nice thing about the Wiki is that there is (almost) no way to "break" anything permanently.
Only wiki admins can permanently delete pages; to mark a a page for them to delete, add {{deletion|<reason>}} to the top of the page, and they'll get around to deleting it. Alternatively, you can just create a redirect to the page that contains the information you were intending to present (by putting in #REDIRECT[[<Name of page>]] at the top of a page) - it could be a good solution, for instance, to redirect UniWiki:Magic14 to The Magic 14. I think I marked them all for deletion. Thanks! However, for my future reference, how do I create a page under my own username (to create a rough-draft) and then later move it to the main wiki (when it is complete)?
You can use your user page (User:Paragot bezier) for whatever you'd like (as you can see from the mess that is my user page) - biography, notes, drafts, personal reference, etc. You can also create as many sub-pages "under" your user page as you like (e.g. User:Paragot bezier/Draft1 (or replace "Draft1" with whatever you want to call it)) - just type http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/User:Paragot_bezier/Draft1 into your browser's address bar and click the "Create" button. Here are all the sub-pages that I created over the years, which I use for notes on various projects - but you can of course use them as you like. Once you're happy with your draft, you can:
  • Move it into the "main" wiki through the "move" command (in the drop-down menu next to "View"/"Edit"/"History"), making sure to select "(Main)" when deciding on a new page name, or
  • If the page already exists and you're writing a completely new version, copy-and-paste the wiki-code from your draft into the existing page.
Keep in mind that it's not necessary for a page to be "perfect" before going into the "main" wiki :) It's perfectly OK to write an initial outline, and fill it out later (with help from others - the idea is that we all collaborate to make the pages better). – Noemie Belacqua 05:23, 2 December 2016 (CST)
Awesome! Thanks for all the great information and help.
