I suffered from the same problem as described in this section, with the launcher tossing an error about "unimplemented function msdelta.dll.ApplyDeltaW"

Did a quick look through winetricks, and found the following.

Running `winetricks msdelta` for my wineprefix seems to have resolved the issue.

GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 5600 OEM/5600 XT / 5700/5700 XT
