I suffered from the same problem as described in this section, with the launcher tossing an error about "unimplemented function msdelta.dll.ApplyDeltaW" | |||
Did a quick look through winetricks, and found the following. | |||

Running `winetricks msdelta` for my wineprefix seems to have resolved the issue. | |||
