EVE University maintains a number of in-game chat channels which are listed below. Members are reminded that they should not create new chat channels ending in (EVE Uni), under the [[EVE University Rules]]. Official channels are created by the CEO to ensure EVE University can retain control of them if a member leaves. If you require a new 'official' chat channel please contact the [[CEO]].

Use these to coordinate ops and such with players that are closer to you. These were primarily setup for students who were outside of the former E-UNI home region of The Forge.

== University Public ==
{{EVEUniversityNav}}
University Public is our public channel. It is used for recruiting, general help, and staying in contact with previous members.

=== The Rules ===
# Respect everyone in the channel, and keep discussions civil. (If you have problem with someone, take it elsewhere.)
# Scamming in any channel is prohibited. There are no exceptions to this.
# Profanity is never allowed. Use alternative words or don't swear.
# Topics must be kept clean and channel content is to be kept PG-13.
# Nobody but Eve University is permitted to recruit in this channel. The Work Fair section of the [[http://www.eve-ivy.com/forum/index.php Ivy League Forums]] is used to recruit members from Eve University.

=== Repercussions ===
These are the typical actions, in order, which will be taken against offenders. However, extreme cases may progress immediately to a permanent ban. Examples are ISK spammers, scammers, and any intentional and deliberate violation of these rules.

# A verbal warning in the relevant channel.
# A 30 minute mute.
# A 24 hour ban.
# A permanent ban on all official E-UNI communication mediums, including channels and forums.

=== Appealing ===
If you feel you have been banned or otherwise moderated unfairly, please contact a director in-game via Private Conversation.
