Role Overview

The Associate Director of Community Development focuses on fostering a strong sense of belonging within EVE University by developing PvE Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and supporting location-based initiatives. This role is essential in guiding the University's shift towards a SIG-based structure, ensuring members have engaging and meaningful ways to connect with the community.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Growth of SIGs and Community Initiatives

  • Collaborate with the Director to refine and expand the SIG framework.
  • Identify and mentor SIG leaders, assisting with content development and sustainability.
  • Encourage SIGs that combine education with gameplay, reinforcing the University's mission.
  • Promote SIGs as a core aspect of community identity and engagement.

Developing Location-Based Community Concepts

Fostering Engagement and Social Retention

  • Build enthusiasm for new and existing initiatives.
