| A recent survey scan of <System> reveals a big deposit of Banidine ore. We were content to leave it alone at first, but then we saw swarms of drones in the area. They seem to be making their way through the asteroid fields there in a hurry. They haven't stumbled on the Banidine yet, but it's only a matter of time.

We want you to get to the ore before they do. I won't lie to you; it's going to be close. You may even have to fight a few of them off, so be careful.

So, again, why the interest from the drones? Well, none but the drones can say, and they're not talking. Suffice to say that their interest can't mean anything good for the humans that share their space.

The NPCs arrive in multiple spawns (4-5) of one or two ships shortly after each other. They most likely be all on grid before you can destroy the first.
The first spawn arrives after approximately 40 seconds<ref>40 seconds is based on 4 runs</ref>.
The mission's own NPCs are not a problem for a barge with drones. However, as with all belts, a regular [[belt rat|belt NPC]] pack can warp into your mission site. If your mission is in 0.0 space, this may include battleships and warp scrambling frigates.
