For a small group of select individuals—those with the rare physical and mental characteristics required to survive the transition into posthumanism—this technology would provide the gateway to power and riches beyond their wildest dreams. Cloning and the hydrostatic capsule are the two cornerstones of the capsuleer class, and as such represent arguably the two most important and influential technologies in New Eden.
