'''** Only Works for Lion OSX and beyond **'''<br> There are few steps to enabling the overlay for MAC. <br> The new 1.2.3 has a working overlay. <br>
The overlay in the 1.2.3a stable release works with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), but not with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). You'll need to install the developer snapshot from [http://mumble.sourceforge.net/ http://mumble.sourceforge.net/] to get a working overlay in Snow Leopard.<ref>[http://sourceforge.net/projects/mumble/forums/forum/492606/topic/5383204/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/mumble/forums/forum/492606/topic/5383204/]</ref>

==== Version 1.2.3  ====
'''In all cases, it is essential that Mumble be running before the EVE client is started for the overlay to work in EVE.'''

==== Version 1.2.3a ====
#Right click the icon and choose "Show Package Contents" Navigate to the following folder:<pre>Mumble.app/Contents/Resources/MumbleOverlay.pkg</pre>

&nbsp;&nbsp; '''Activating Overlay'''
===== Installing the Overlay =====

'''&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ***IMPORTANT*** Eve Client Needs to be closed during this process.'''<br>
#After downloading and mounting the Mumble install dmg, drag and drop the Mumble application into the folder of your choice.
#Launch Mumble.
#Click Mumble -> Preferences… and go to the Overlay section in the Preferences window that opens.
#Click the [Install Mumble Overlay] button. If prompted, authenticate using an account with Admin rights.
#*The window will update once the overlay is installed.
#Tick the [Enable Overlay] checkbox if it's not already ticked.
#Click [OK] to close the Preferences window.

#To Enable the overlay goto Preferences in Mumble and Click overlay top right button;
Congratulations, you now have a working overlay! Well, kind of. You'll probably want to make some configuration changes.
#Click the enable overlay checkbox on the top left corner of the window in the options section;
#Click Apply, Then Click OK.

&nbsp;&nbsp; '''Configuring Overlay'''
===== Configuring Overlay =====

#With Mumble client open first, Launch Eve as normal;
#With the Mumble application still running, launch EVE.
#Command+Enter to put Eve into a being out of Full Screen if you have your client setup to start as such
#If you run EVE in full-screen mode, press the [Command]+[Enter] keys to put it into windowed mode.
#*You will see the overlay in your Eve Client once it starts
#Switch to Mumble and click Mumble -> Preferences… and go back to the Overlay section.
#Goto Preference in Mumble, then Overlay again and in the lower section under the Layout tab, using the screen display below drag and size the overlay position to a point on a screen that you feel comfortable with. The red spot moves the anchor of the overlay. You can change the size of the name displayed using mouse scroll wheel. <br>
#In the Layout tab in the bottom half of the window, use the screen preview to:
#Right Click on black overlay menu, under Filter check [Only Talking], and uncheck [Always show yourself];
##Move the red dot to anchor the overlay where you want it.
#Click Apply; Click Ok;
##Hover the mouse over the overlay and scroll in/out to increase/decrease the size of the overlay.
#Leaving Mumble open in the background you can now go back to your Eve client and type Command+Enter;
##Right-click the overlay and in the Filter menu check [Only Talking] (or [Talking and recently active]) and uncheck [Always show yourself].
#Your overlay is not setup and you are ready to go!
##Adjust other settings as desired. Right-click the overly and select Edit to customise the look of the overlay (e.g., background and font colour for the talk/shout/whisper).
#Click Ok to save the changes.
#With Mumble running in the background, you can now switch back to EVE. Press [Command]+[Enter] if you want to put EVE in full-screen mode.

Be sure to start Mumble first before Eve Client from here on out.
Your overlay is now setup and you are ready to go!

You may wish to Edit the way your Overlay looks, you can do so by going to Preference &gt; Overlay &gt;&nbsp;Right Click on Layout overlay menu &gt;&nbsp;Click Edit. You can move things around and resize to best suite your needs.
Again - be sure to start Mumble first before EVE from here on out.
