War Points
These are arguably the true yardstick as to the abilities a Merc in Dust 514.
As you perform actions on the battlefield you are awarded War Points (WP). These go beyond just the normal Kills and assists you might make but activities such as Hacking, supplying ammo, repair and completing Squad Orders issued by your squad leader all give you WP's.
War points are important as they are the key to Orbital Bombardments. Once a squad has gained 2500 War Points between them, the Squad Leader is given authorisation to fire an OB at a target of their choosing.
