Template:Member Services Harmonia is EVE University's POS, or Player-Owned Starbase. It serves three functions:
- a rally point for other local operations (fleets, roams, mining activities, etc.)
- defense / safe spot
- a place for reprocessing or compressing ore
The POS is located at Planet 6, Moon 9 in Slays. There is a corporate bookmark for Harmonia available.
Rally Point
You can use the POS to rally fleets or conduct other EVE University operations. Only people in the IVY Alliance will be able to enter the shield.
Defense
You can use the POS as a safe location in Slays if you need to evade War Targets.
The POS will automatically lock and fire on anyone who is a War Target. Protection is not instantaneous, as the guns and POS modules require a long time to lock up targets, especially small ones.
If you need a safe place to be during wartime, being inside the POS shields is a good place to be. You cannot be harmed as long as you stay within the POS shields. But neither can you lock nor otherwise engage anything else.
Do not move while you're in the POS shield, as you may bump other players out of the shield's safe area.
Reprocessing Array
Harmonia has a Reprocessing Array available to EVE University students. To use the array for reprocessing ores, simply bring the ores to the Reprocessing Array, open it and place them inside, right-click on a stack and choose Reprocess. The process is immediate and instant. Don't forget to take the minerals and remaining ores back out.
Students must join the Industry.E-UNI chat channel while using the Reprocessing Array.
Because there is only a single storage space for ores/minerals, only one student should use the array at a time to prevent ores/minerals becoming mixed. If you see another student within 3 Km of the array (you must be within 3 Km to activate the reprocessing), then you must coordinate the use of the array within the Industry.E-UNI chat channel. It is considered polite to keep your distance if someone else is currently using the array.
Theft of others' items during POS array use is considered corp theft and thus punishable as such.
Compression Array
Harmonia has a Compression Array available to EVE University students. To use the array for compressing ores, simply bring the ores to the Compression Array, open it and place them inside, right-click on a stack and choose Compress. The process is immediate and instant. Don't forget to take the compressed and remaining ores back out.
Students must join the Industry.E-UNI chat channel while using the Compression Array.

Theft of others' items during POS array use is considered corp theft and thus punishable as such.
POS Research
Due to changes with the way POS Research Laboratories are used after the Crius expansion, the POS Research Program has been cancelled. However, the same expansion has made public research facilities available without slot limitations, and thus they may be used instead.
Currently (Dec 2014), there are three Research programs at E-UNI:
- the hi-sec BPO library in Eygfe - Eygfe VII - Moon 9 - Ishukone Corporation Factory (needs updating to new location)
- the LSC Industry program in Uphallant - LSC Industry Program
- the NSC BPO corp hangar in T22- NSC Blueprints
- the HSC BPO library in Amyygnon HSC Blueprints
Other Modules
E-UNI students are NOT allowed to use any of the other POS modules, such as the Research Laboratory or the Corporate Hangar Array. The mechanics of their storage prevents their secure use, and thus they are present only for internal use by the EVE University Logistics Division. Any use of these facilities by students may result in the loss of their items or blueprints, so be careful!
