Chief Executive Officer

Laura Karpinski

The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of EVE University. They ensure that the university’s long-term mission, strategy, and vision are being pursued effectively. The CEO represents the organisation externally, managing high-level relationships with alliances and the wider EVE Online community. They work closely with the leadership team to ensure that all departments align with the university’s core objectives, and they make the final decisions on strategic matters.

Director Team

Professor Xobekk	Director of Strategy, Community and Resources Focus: Big-picture planning, managing resources, and keeping everything on track. Work closely with the CEO to come up with and roll out long-term strategies. Make sure resources—like ISK, people, and tools—are being used wisely across all departments. Oversee policy and governance within the alliance. Help other departments stay on track with the overall vision and goals of the organisation. Be a sounding board for the CEO and make sure communication flows smoothly between teams.
Gideon Mastracci III	Director of Logistics and Operations Focus: Overseeing the logistics and infrastructure that keep the university running smoothly. Oversee the functioning and setup of Eve University infrastructure. Determine the shape of fleet logistics, including the programs supporting them. Oversee the support for the combat side of Eve University. Work with improving and streamlining logistics processes. Make sure infrastructure is aligned to Eve University priorities and mission.
Nessie Blue	Director of Training and Development (currently on sabbatical - contact the Director of Communications and Outreach for anything that is needed) Focus: Helping members learn, grow, and develop their skills across all areas of the university. Find and support trainers, whether they’re guest speakers or part of the regular teaching team. Make sure training programmes actually achieve results and are engaging and relevant. Ensure that education is woven into all university activities—not just in classes, but through fleets, events, and other content. Team up with the Director of Communications and Outreach to bring in external speakers or training events. Keep refining the training structure to maintain high standards and accessibility.
Professor Amfion	Director of Communications and Outreach Focus: Keeping members informed and promoting EVE University’s reputation in the wider EVE universe. Manage internal comms so everyone knows what’s going on and stays connected. Handle PR, including social media, articles, and outreach to the EVE community. Build relationships with other organisations, alliances, and key players in EVE Online. Work with the Director of Training and Development to bring in guest speakers or training events.
Bates Larsson	Director of Web Services and Systems Focus: Managing all technical aspects of the university’s online presence and infrastructure Oversee the web services, hosting and systems. Ensure that all technical aspects, such as databases, communication tools, and learning platforms, run smoothly. Ensure that the technical infrastructure supports the needs of all departments. Work closely with other directors to ensure the systems are secure, up-to-date, and capable of handling the university’s growing needs.
Gibson Thunderbird	Associate Director of Community Development Focus: Leading the development and growth of the community through PvE SIGs and initiatives. Drive the creation and engagement of PvE SIGs. Develop and implement community-focused initiatives and location based activity in high, low and nullsec spaces. Mentor SIG leaders and Community Development leads, fostering leadership and sustainability. Collaborate with leadership to shape community strategy.
Tsuro Tsero	Associate Director of Community Development Focus: Leading the development and engagement of the community through structured PvP opportunities. Drive the creation and engagement of PvP SIGs content. Develop initiatives to make PvP more accessible in highsec, lowsec, nullsec, and Thera. Mentor SIG leaders and PvP participants, fostering a strong PvP community. Collaborate with leadership to shape and integrate PvP strategies.

Communications Manager

Vacant (overseen by Director of Communications & Outreach until filled) The Communications Manager manages EVE University's social media presence, and deals with the external promotion of EVE University, as well as internal communications. The Communications Department supports the Teaching Department with the creation and maintenance of media, such as on the EVE University Youtube channel. Main article: Communications Department

FC Team Managers

The FC Team Managers collectively oversee the FC Team, which helps teach members to become excellent FCs and provides operational support to EVE University combat activities. They maintain the Ship Replacement Program and support EVE University's Communities with PvP needs.

Outreach Manager

Vacant (overseen by Director of Communications & Outreach until filled) The Outreach Manager is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Outreach Department. They are responsible for identifying opportunities to propagate EVE University's educational mission to other groups in EVE Online, and follow up with interested parties to form reciprocal collaborations for learning and content. The Community Leads oversee their respective Communities and Community Coordinators to provide students content and/or help students provide content in their Communities.

Web Services Manager

Structure Operations Lead

Nexdoom Atruin The Structure Operations Lead manages the deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of EVE University’s structures, ensuring they align with organizational goals and community needs. They oversee corporate asset donations, office distributions, and structure registrations in Alliance Auth while supporting the Director of Strategy and Resources with structure sales and acquisitions. The role also maintains structure documentation and refines access control lists (ACLs) for security and efficiency. Main article: Structure Operations Lead

EVE University founder

Morning Maniac “ I founded EVE University to create a place where new players could get together and be appreciated for who they were. Classes and doing things together were important but nothing was, and is, more important than the positive attitude towards new players. In the first three years I clocked about 4000 hours logged-in in the service of the University. After some real life changes my available free time was greatly reduced but I could rely on a great team of directors and managers to run the Uni. In the last three years I was mainly concerned with extinguishing fires and the occasional directorship drama, but fortunately for me and everyone involved these issues have become less frequent and intense. The current leadership is stable and doing well, and they seem to share my vision of what the University should be and they work hard to shape it as such, with all the limitations of the game and the people in it. More changes in my real life have resulted in even less EVE time and as a result I feel now removed from the game. Because of that I have decided that it is in the best interest of EVE University that I resign from my CEO position. I have asked Kelduum to succeed me and he has accepted the job. What does this mean for the University and its members? Well, nothing. It means that now the formal power will be with the person who has already been in charge for a long time. I trust that Kelduum and the rest of the leadership will continue to run and build the University as they have done in the past. If they should decide to take another route then that's fine too. As for me? I hope to stay a member of the University. If and when I have time I would like to log in and just join the chat with the new guys. The enthusiasm of new players is what I always enjoy most about EVE. Besides, there is always a lot to learn in EVE. Finally, I would like to thank everyone for putting your trust in me. When I founded the Uni I had no idea where it would go. Where we are today is far beyond anything I could have imagined. I have learned so much, I have met amazing people and had a great time. All thanks to you, members past and present of EVE University. ”
