But the missions themselves are fairly easy - as long as you pay attention and don't let the offered or accepted timers expire, they can be done without too much of a hassle. The missions are easy enough for a brand new player in their first frigate to complete them without problems.

Get the mission from the Agent, destroy the Neon Sign to get the Key to the acceleration gate (0.8% Minmatar Republic standing loss).
 
 
 
In the pocket you will find Dari Akell among several Habitation Modules. Destroy her ship and she will drop in a Container, loot it and bring her back to the Agent through the gate nearby, this will complete both missions.

Shaman Secrets is a multi part level 1 mission for Minmatar Republic.

The structure of the mission chain suggests that it was supposed to be started in any of the three Minmatar Republic data centers, but this pre-requisite is not implemented in game. Instead, you can talk to Pinala Adala without having completed any of the data center missions to initiate the chain.

The mission chain will reward the player with one random +1 attribute implant and Minmatar Republic faction standings.

Mission briefing
Now that I know you have the skills to pull through, it's time to test your loyalty. So I'll get straight to the point. I work for a Matar citizen, who wishes to remain anonymous, who was wronged by a certain Vherokior shaman. My client wants revenge, and this requires the capture of this Vherokior individual. If you don't have the guts to take part in this endeavor, then I suggest you leave now.

Oh don't worry about that, you won't be breaking any laws. Or in other words, no one will know that you are breaking any laws. We dug up some dirt on the shaman in question, and soon he will be a wanted man in the Republic. We won't reveal it to the authorities until we have him though, just to make sure we get there before the police do. We need him alive, he's of no use to us dead.

Once our allegations of him are proven, he will be executed. It will matter little to the authorities if we do the honors for them. Therefore you have nothing to fear.

Now for your task, I want you to apprehend a member of the Angel Cartel. The Cartel is the biggest criminal organization in the known universe, so finding a few of their members shouldn't be very difficult. I'll even upload a bookmark to one of their hideouts for you, into your journal.

Lore Blurb; The Disgraced Son
The Brutor, Hnarlir Afer, has been an outcast from his home-world, Matar, ever since his Voluval ritual. The mark it left behind was so shameful even his loving father disowned him. He moved to the Gallente Federation, where hardly anyone recognized the mark or paid it any attention. There he began a life of a mercenary, having been bred as a space pilot by his military veteran father.

He quickly made a name for himself, before becoming a freelancer. Using the wealth he garnered from that profession, he started up his own corporation, The Markoni Dragons. It has been quite successful, earning Hnarlir a small fortune.

But even with his change of fortune, Hnarlir greatly misses his homeworld. He desperately wants to return and reclaim a position within his nation of birth. But he dares not return with the mark on his cheek as visible as ever. His family has suffered enough shame on his behalf already.

Yet Hnarlir still has hope. Hope that his ‘condition' can finally be modified. Even though it goes against everything the Minmatar consider holy, Hnarlir is just desperate, and wealthy, enough to pull it off. He wants to learn the method which the Vheriokor shamans use to perform the Voluval ritual and modify the mark so that it no longer resembles the symbol of the Ammatar Mandate.

Now I would like you to drop off these reports I have to the Vherokior Bureau in Gelfiven. An associate of mine will retrieve it from the hangar there. These reports and the Angel Cartel prisoner you brought me will be enough to convince any jury of the Vherokior shaman's guilt. That should set us up nicely for capturing him.

A simple courier mission for a fast ship.

Mission briefing
Before we make our attempt at capturing Logut Akell, the Vherokior shaman I was referring to earlier, we need to find him. He is currently meditating somewhere in Eram, but I haven't been able to track him down. If you didn't know, this meditation process of the Vherokior shamans can take months or even years, and frankly I'd rather not wait that long.

There is one link to Logut that I haven't pursued ... yet. His name is Matique Karani, and he's an associate of Loguts. I want you to pay Matique a visit and force him to reveal the whereabouts of Logut. Use any means necessary.

Oh and you'll probably have to deal with a few guards Matique hired. If it weren't for them, I'd have done the dirty work myself a long time ago.

So he's at one of Eram IV's moons eh? I hope you 'took care of Matique' in your last mission, otherwise I'm afraid he may have notified Logut about our plans already. But either way we can't waste any more time, it's time to finish what we started.

Once you reach the second pocket and get the message box, the mission is complete and it is up to you whether Matique Karani is killed or left alone.

Great work! My men are taking care of his 'accommodations' as we speak. You'll be rewarded well for your efforts, of course.

When you warp to Eram IV - Moon 2, you will find yourself in an unnamed, unmarked site with Logut's Abode, a locked acceleration gate, and Blasted Neon Sign. Start conversation with Logut's Abode to speak to Hlebnar Tonari, who will give you a "hostage exchange" mission, you will need a Data Analyzer to hack the Blasted Neon Sign to retrieve the objective for completion, the mission rewards you with Logut Akell required for the current mission.

No, this cannot be! Touch a strand of hair on Dari's head and we'll have the Republic Fleet so far up your ass they'll hear your screams on Amarr Prime. But I will speak to Logut, as long as Dari is unharmed.

Logut has agreed to your terms, he will cooperate as long as Dari remains safe with me. He would do anything for his daughter, even surrender to treasonous scoundrels like yourself. But be warned, if he is not returned safe and sound within the month, we will contact the Minmatar secret service and they will hunt you down like the dog you are. Be-gone!¨


Hint

The key to the gateway is hidden inside the blasted neon sign near Logut's Abode, so bring along a Data Analyzer.

Use a data analyzer to hack Blasted Neon Sign and loot Logut's Keycard (0.1m³), after which you can activate the acceleration gate.

Inside the pocket is a single frigate - destroy the ship, loot the pilot, and take the gateway back to the agent. After the "hostage exchange", you can go back to Pinala Adala to proceed with the rest of her mission chain.

Mission briefing
As your final task for me, I would like you to help with delivering the reports of our success to Hnarlir Afer. His agent in Eystur will pick them up and deliver them the rest of the way. Hnarlir is a very secretive man, and would not want his whereabouts known to just anyone, even a trusted accomplice such as yourself. Good luck.

A simple courier mission for a fast ship. You will have to return to the agent's station to retrieve the attribute implant rewarded to you.

You have now completed the Shaman Secrets mission chain.
