Program Requirements
 +

 +
To complete the CCI Program you had to:
 +
* Participate in a total twenty (20) scheduled content generation activities across at least four (4) different communities or areas of space. (High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec, Wormhole/Pochven, Incursion)
 +
* Participate in at least five (5) content scheduled generation activities per community or area of space.
 +
* Coordinate or lead at least eight (8) scheduled content generation activities split between at least four (4) different communities. (You must also participate in these activities)
 +
* Activities in each community should be spread over at least one (1) week. No more than one (1) activity per day will count.
 +
* Document each event with a forum post, AAR (for PVP), or Discord ping (for Incursions).
 +
* Compete all required activities within a year of starting. (If you require additional time, contact the CCI Manager).
 +

 +
Content Generating Activities
 +
Content generation activities that counted towards the meeting the requirements of the CCI program included but were not limited to:
 +
* Joining (or better yet FC'ing) PvP, STRATOP (management approved structure defense or bash), mission, abyssal, incursion, or mining fleets in game.
 +
* Teaching classes centered around a community, area of space, or major activities that go on there.
 +
* Organizing both in game and out of game events (if these are uni-wide events it is even better!)
 +

 +
For content activities to count towards the CCI program requirements they had to be planned ahead and posted in the calendar and/or the forum or discord ping channels as appropriate. QRF fleets and other spontaneously organized content and activities did not count towards meeting the CCI program requirements.
 +

 +
Activities had to be scheduled and advertised in the in game calendar and EVE University Forum otherwise these activities would not count toward CCI Program progress with the exception of Incursion Community content (other than classes) as long as the fleet was formed in accordance with the community's standard procedures.

We expect to see the following:
+
* Planned content that departs or forms out of our Headquarters in Stacmon was credited based on what area of space (High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec) that the activity primarily takes place in.
*Participation in at least 5 activities per community.
+
* Planned content primarily taking place within Pochven region counted as a Wormhole Community activity.
*The 5 activities should be spread over more than 1 week per community.  No more than one (1) activity per day.
+
* Planned content departing from WHC's home in Innuendo and proceeding "down chain" into k-space as part of the activity counted as Wormhole Activity
*At least 4 different communities visited for a combined total of 20 activities.

*Coordinate 8 or more activities among at least 4 different communities.

*We require you to document every participation by a forum post or by an AAR (for PVP).

*All of the activities must be completed within a year; if you require additional time, contact the CCI Manager.

*To reiterate, participation is the key.  You may organize the activities and you also will have to participate in those activities.

Please note that for activities to be valid these need to be planned ahead and posted in the calendar otherwise these activities will not count toward CCI Program progress.
+
In the case planned content was roughly split across communities or areas of space (Ex. A Intro to Industry Couse That Covers Both High and Null Sec), the participant had a single category of their preference to the credit for the activity.

In addition, the actual location where the activity occurs or starts from is irrelevant. The important point is which campus (or community) you are calling "Home" at the time you participate or lead said activity. For example, you lead a roam that starts at HSC and you currently live in LSC, the activity will count toward your home in LSC.
+
The communities and areas of space, along with some examples of content that can be carried out there, are shown below. Some communities (WHC & Incursions) have requirements before you can participate in the majority if not all of their activities. New CCI participants were encouraged to research these requirements early and work towards meeting them while completing activities for the other communities and areas of space.

A major emphasis of the CCI program was to promote the generation of content for Unistas, as such, there was a requirement for all CCI participants to lead or coordinate at least 8 of the 20 fleets, classes, or events required. The demonstrated leadership requirement also required that at the 8 required content generation activities be spread across 4 of the 5 communities or areas of space.

Most CCI participants had to coordinate content in communities where they were not current content generators. CCI participants were strongly encouraged to contact the Community Coordinators of the respective communities when beginning to plan an event to meet the leadership requirements of the CCI program if they did not have experience in that community or area of space. These pilots graciously volunteered to serve as the points of contact for their respective communities and assisted CCI participants with an introduction to the community, etiquette, and current and planned activities and/or events to ensure successful events that were fun for all participants and mitigate any unintentional consequences.

Christmas Eagle Logo.png This page's intent is to provide information on the the history of EVE University. The information on this page is no longer current.

All members of EVE University were free to participate in the Community Content Initiative previously known as Cross Campus Initiative, also known as CCI program. This also included staff (All staff are encouraged to give this a go!).

Why Should I Participate?

EVE University prides itself on covering a diverse array of activities within New Eden. To provide our pilots with the best 'all around' experience, a set of communities were put in place. This helped educate unistas learn the different playstyles and tactics used within each area of space.

What The Initiative Offered

 • This Initiative assisted towards the goals of obtaining Titles
 • A well rounded education on all areas of New Eden
 • Meet new people!
 • Make new friends!
 • The ultimate reward: a unique EVE University Medal! The EVE University Campus Cross after finishing the CCI.

Program Requirements

To complete the CCI Program you had to:

 • Participate in a total twenty (20) scheduled content generation activities across at least four (4) different communities or areas of space. (High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec, Wormhole/Pochven, Incursion)
 • Participate in at least five (5) content scheduled generation activities per community or area of space.
 • Coordinate or lead at least eight (8) scheduled content generation activities split between at least four (4) different communities. (You must also participate in these activities)
 • Activities in each community should be spread over at least one (1) week. No more than one (1) activity per day will count.
 • Document each event with a forum post, AAR (for PVP), or Discord ping (for Incursions).
 • Compete all required activities within a year of starting. (If you require additional time, contact the CCI Manager).

Content Generating Activities

Content generation activities that counted towards the meeting the requirements of the CCI program included but were not limited to:

 • Joining (or better yet FC'ing) PvP, STRATOP (management approved structure defense or bash), mission, abyssal, incursion, or mining fleets in game.
 • Teaching classes centered around a community, area of space, or major activities that go on there.
 • Organizing both in game and out of game events (if these are uni-wide events it is even better!)

For content activities to count towards the CCI program requirements they had to be planned ahead and posted in the calendar and/or the forum or discord ping channels as appropriate. QRF fleets and other spontaneously organized content and activities did not count towards meeting the CCI program requirements.

Activities had to be scheduled and advertised in the in game calendar and EVE University Forum otherwise these activities would not count toward CCI Program progress with the exception of Incursion Community content (other than classes) as long as the fleet was formed in accordance with the community's standard procedures.

 • Planned content that departs or forms out of our Headquarters in Stacmon was credited based on what area of space (High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec) that the activity primarily takes place in.
 • Planned content primarily taking place within Pochven region counted as a Wormhole Community activity.
 • Planned content departing from WHC's home in Innuendo and proceeding "down chain" into k-space as part of the activity counted as Wormhole Activity

In the case planned content was roughly split across communities or areas of space (Ex. A Intro to Industry Couse That Covers Both High and Null Sec), the participant had a single category of their preference to the credit for the activity.

Suggested Activities

While not an exhaustive or exclusive list, the following is a list of potential CCI content available in each community.

 • Main Community This area includes HighSec, Lowsec and Nullsec content.

Leading Content Generating Activities

A major emphasis of the CCI program was to promote the generation of content for Unistas, as such, there was a requirement for all CCI participants to lead or coordinate at least 8 of the 20 fleets, classes, or events required. The demonstrated leadership requirement also required that at the 8 required content generation activities be spread across 4 of the 5 communities or areas of space.

Getting Started and Documenting Program Progress

Participating in the CCI program was as simple as starting EVE University forum post to track content generation activity participation.

Each participant was required to track and document their CCI Program participation in their own thread located in the forum.

Additionally, interested Unistas were encouraged to attend an Introduction to CCI class which were offered on a routine basis for more information on the program and its requirements.

The CCI was an idea of White 0rchid when he was a uni member. He left corp before we could actually put this into practice and work out all the details. The general lines are still there but Rose Chanlin and Croixant have worked the concept further out to what it is today.
