Yes, the interrogation went well. We managed to find out who he was working for. Apparently he had been contacted by a Darkonnen agent and paid a vast sum of money to kidnap our CEO's niece. A foolhardy task, but he did manage to pull it off and transfer her into the hands of the criminals.
Also, the data disc you transported in your last mission has revealed even more to us. It contained the precise meeting points between the kidnappers and the Darkonnen agent for the past few weeks, as well as the exact coordinates for the next meeting, which is to take place very soon now. I'd like you to fly over there yourself and ambush the Darkonnen goons at that location. Be quick: I don't know how long they will wait for their contact to arrive. |

Ship suggestion | Shuttle or fast frigate |

We've had a major influenza outbreak here on <Station>. Because of it, our antiviral drug supplies have grown thin, and we're afraid we'll run out soon. We have a lot of personnel here; given the current state of affairs, we wouldn't want half of them taking sick leave due to our lack of medicine. I've taken the liberty of ordering the purchase of some antiviral drugs at <Station>; I need you to transport them here.
Please hurry ― our staff is depending on you. |

I just received an anonymous transmission asking me to send you specifically to a meeting place in <System>. It also said that the person you are to meet there has information that could be vital to our investigation of the disappearance of our CEO's niece. I'm reluctant to send you, since this may be a trap, but I really have no choice. If I send someone else, though, I could be compromising the investigation. So I ask you, please head out to the bookmarked location which was given to me through the anonymous transmission. Be sure to record anything said to you and save it into your ship's database, and then return with it to me. |

Attacking the Darkonnen Envoy after talking to him does not affect the mission. May drop a +4 implant.

Welcome, agent. I presume you are the one who reduced our base to rubble. That really ... complicated our operations, and caused our leader to become quite ... angry. Even so we don't blame you for it, you were simply following orders.
We were quite surprised to find out that the authorities had discovered the location of our outpost which you destroyed. We were certain that we had been betrayed, and during our thorough investigation of the matter we discovered that not only had we been betrayed but also framed by our most loathsome rivals, the Blood Raiders. They were the ones who kidnapped the girl and started this whole mess, we had nothing to do with it. Their obvious motive was to trick your government into attacking our base, which paralyzed our operations in the area, and resulted in the loss of most of our clients in these parts. Although we found it hard to believe at first, we have a long-standing relationship with the Blood Raiders and regularly supply them with goods they cannot acquire through other means. Their meddling in our affairs makes no sense. But the evidence is overwhelming, and therefore we must act. Now here is where you come in. We led you here for a reason, this acceleration gate leads straight to a Blood Raider/Sansha convoy, ferrying some very valuable goods which they purchased from us. Its escort team is not prepared for a sneak attack, so this should give you the perfect opportunity to strike. Capture their leader, and your people may be able to acquire information leading to the girl through him. I'm sure he will give you the answer you seek, and hopefully end this crusade against our corporation. |

A Blood Raider strike force entered this system earlier today and wiped out some of our patrol ships in a surprise assault! Now we've received a broken distress signal, only moments ago, from one of our civilian convoys traveling to a supply depot in <System>. I fear it has been attacked by these same pirate forces. Please undock immediately and get over there before it's too late! I'll supply you with a bookmark to their exact coordinates. Now hurry!
Good job out there. Sadly, it seems that their attack on the civilian convoy was only a diversion; while the population here was in a state of panic, a few Blood Raiders fanatics managed to break into the prison cell containing the captives you brought back on one of your previous missions. We must get those prisoners back, as we still don't know the location of their base! Let me know when you're ready for another assignment: I need you ASAP. |

As you approach the convoy, you notice the charred wreckage left behind. None of the transport ships survived. However the Blood Raider ships are apparently still at the scene, and attack you immediately. At least you can extract some revenge for the brutal slaying of the civilian crew on board the industrials. |

As I've already mentioned, while we were scrambling to defend our convoys from the Blood Raiders, a few of their agents broke into our prison module and managed to escape with your prisoners. Our interrogation was not complete and we still don't know where their base is located, so we must get them back. We know where their ships are headed, though, and we need you to intercept them before they manage to jump out of this system. This might be our last chance of getting them before they vanish into deep space, so please hurry! |

Part 10 - The Final Battle
Mission briefing |
---|
Our intelligence team has just informed us of new evidence that apparently points to the girl being held in a Blood Raider stronghold in <System>. According to our information, she is being held in their chapel and is going to be sacrificed in the near future in one of their bloody rituals. We must see that she is returned to her family safely before those despicable Blood Raider fanatics murder her.
There is a fundamental problem, however; the Blood Raiders are fully aware of our intention to free her and have sent in a fleet of their battleships to guard their outpost. Now, I certainly do not expect you to fight against such odds, but I firmly believe you capable of infiltrating their base, rescuing the girl, and escaping with your ship intact. We have located a series of acceleration gates leading straight to the chapel. Once you arrive at the final room, all you have to do is destroy the chapel and retrieve the girl from the ejected safety capsule. (All of their chapels have this mechanism in place to save their priests from death should the structure be obliterated.) If we send in a fleet of ships, the Blood Raiders will simply kill her as soon as they realize they have lost. We need to hit them fast and hard, with a small force, before they know what hit them. That is the only chance we have of getting her out of there alive. Now, if you do not find the girl alive after destroying the chapel, then active your warp drive immediately and get out of there! I wouldn't want to lose you needlessly, <Capsuleer>. But rest assured, should you fall, then I will personally make sure the Raider scum pay the price. Good luck. [when complete] Nice work. This victory of yours will undoubtedly be a serious blow to the Blood Raider leader responsible for the outpost's defenses. I'm sure he will be sacrificed in one of their rituals as punishment ― ha! A fitting end to one of those bloodthirsty maniacs. I am also very pleased to inform you that our CEO's niece is now in our custody. We found her alive and well in a capsule floating around this very station. Apparently they drugged her, and she remembers hardly anything since her capture. But I can't help but wonder at how fortunately this all ended ... I have a nagging suspicion that someone else was behind all of this and played us like fools. But enough of this, let us rejoice at a job well done. Our CEO sends his utmost gratitude, as well as a special bonus reward from his own coffers, which he hopes you will enjoy. |

Warp in, 5 groups. Once dealing with the instant aggro from group 1 the remaining groups are at extreme range. All ships may aggro on attacking any one ship. Ships may also attack drones if drones attack the sentries.
The Tower Sentries are proximity activated and will aggro as soon as you get within 80km, so going for one of the middle ones will possibly put you in range of 2 others. Tower Sentries range is limited to 80km.
