The location of the EVE University Null-Sec Community is often referred to as PC9 pocket with the staging system for most services being , the HQ system of Eve University’s NS Staging. There are no (skill) requirements to come and fly here, we welcome all Unistas – no matter their experience, clone level or ‘time in game’.

Our NS Staging is based in the Syndicate region in New Eden (See Dotlan map). Our NS Staging is commonly referred to as the ‘NS Pocket’ or ‘PC9 pocket’. As you can see on that map: PC9-AY itself. It is referred to as pocket, as PC9 is the entry system for this small dead-end pocket.
The EVE University Nullsec Community previously operated from the Y4Y constellation in the Syndicate region, with PC9-AY serving as its primary home for many years. Following sustained aggression from the corporation Cynosural Field Theory, including the destruction of Ivy League Alliance holdings in the area, EVE University withdrew from Syndicate.

Temporary staging locations were trialled, including X-7OMU in the Pure Blind region; however, accessibility to this location was impacted by changes introduced in September 2024 (Patch Notes for 2024-09-09.1), which restricted viable Nullsec staging options within range of EVE University's former high-sec headquarters in Stacmon. Combined with declining membership engagement in the Nullsec Community and an absence of suitable leadership to sustain ongoing Nullsec activity, the EVE University Directorate made the decision to withdraw from Nullsec in late 2024.

In PC9-AY we consider the NPC Station: PC9-AY III Intake Commerce Trading Post as our HQ. This is the station serviced by EVE Uni’s different programs. On Comms you'll hear the term 'TS' (or Top Station) frequently. This term refers to this station as well, since it's the station on top of the list you see when you right-click in space (in system) and hover over 'stations'.
As announced in the December 2024 State of the Alliance address by CEO Laura Karpinski, EVE University formally ceased its Nullsec operations due to insufficient interest from its student base and volunteer staff to maintain the logistical support required. The relocation of the University's high-sec headquarters to Korsiki in early 2025 further reinforced the Directorate's decision to close the Nullsec Community.

Students are encouraged to consider forming a future Nullsec Special Interest Group or similar initiative if sufficient interest, skills, and leadership emerge.
We suggest to consider following stations to install a jump-clone:
* PC9-AY III - Intake Commerce Trading Post (900k ISK since it's an NPC station)
* T22-QI - Varris Thellere (EVE University structure - 1 ISK)
* PC9-AY - Lah'mu (Blue structure - 0 ISK)

Please be mindful when installing clones in a structure other than an NPC station, as Upwell structures (player owned) can be destroyed at any time.
For reference, the December 2024 State of the Alliance address can be viewed here: .

If you are planning to stage out of PC9, it is highly recommended to make Top-Station (PC9-AY III - Intake Commerce Trading Post) your Home Station.

Null-Sec differs from High- and Low-Sec in a couple of ways. The biggest differences you will notice:

- No NPCs coming to the aid of capsuleers fighting, no security status hit either
- Warp Disruption fields, commonly referred to as ‘bubbles’ can be utilised to hinder travel/warp
- A lot of the reward systems in EVE are directly linked to the system security e.g. bounties of NPC rats, abundance of Planetary Industry resources and many more. Hence, living in Null-Sec often offers better rewards for higher risks.
