+ | : The information I posted was actually tested in game with a new account that no longer had the AIR Expert System active on the character and could not run 2 jobs at a time as stated to do in the walkthrough. The information provided to actually produce 2 items at a time was factually accurate and actually tested in game (Mass Production requires Industry III and you must have Mass Production I to run 2 jobs at a time). In hindsight however, most all new players will have the various AIR Expert Systems active so they may not then have to worry about training the skills I stated to do 2 jobs at a time.

+ | :: Yes, the information is correct for using 2 '''jobs''' at the same time, the parallel that Anidien talks about. In your edit however you talked about '''runs''', the serial in Anidiens post. A job can do multiple runs and then the Mass Production skill is not needed. The walkthrough also talks about runs and not jobs. Additionally to run 2 jobs at the same time you need 2 blueprints. --[[User:Evon R'al|Evon R'al]] ([[User talk:Evon R'al|talk]]) 23:53, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

I was not 100% sure so I asked on the Discord #wiki channel, leading to the following convo:

Regarding this edit https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/index.php?title=Industrialist_(Producer)&diff=prev&oldid=212138
It's been a while since my skills where that low and I don't remember, but do you really need Mass Production to do 2 runs? The Mass Production skill description says "Allows the operation of multiple factories. Ability to run 1 additional manufacturing job per level." and the editor mentions in the summary that the skills are needed for "2 job runs" so I think the editor is confusing jobs and runs? 😎

Yeah that edit is unfortunately wrong. Industry slots versus runs are a parallel versus serial concept. ME concepts aside, its a matter of how quickly the results come in.
If one run takes 1 hour, do I want to be done in 2 hours (1 slot 2 runs) or 1 hour (2 slots 1 run) - the second takes skills, the first doesn’t. Also thank you to the editor for stepping in and making a change! Please everyone understand that the contribution is appreciated AND this is a great example of why it’s not worth being afraid of breaking something - it can always be reviewed, discussed, and undone or modified if needed!

- The information I posted was actually tested in game with a new account that no longer had the AIR Expert System active on the character and could not run 2 jobs at a time as stated to do in the walkthrough.
