The lack of mid and low slots causes fitting issues for Metamorphosis hence it is rarely used as a hunter ship. Metamorphosis serve as an easy access to +10 virus strength at a cheaper price compared to the Astero, and with 0 skill requirement, alpha characters are able to fly them at full capability on day 1.
