Join the EVE University Homefront Community!

We’re here to support both new and veteran players in running Homefront fleets. With our dedicated high-sec base, Homefronts are more accessible than ever—shorter travel times, easier access to ships, and faster fleet formation.

With us, you’ll learn to fly in small Homefront fleets, collaborate with capsuleers of all skill levels, and earn steady ISK. You’ll discover the different mission types, optimize your fittings for efficiency, and even gain the confidence to lead a fleet of your own.

Getting started

Staging area

E-UNI Homefront Community runs most scheduled fleets from Rens VI – Moon 8, Brutor Tribe Treasury. We recommend setting up a nearby jump clone for quick deployment. As a major trade hub, Rens also makes it easy to buy and fit ships on the spot.

WARNING: Avoid lowsec shortcuts between Jita and Rens—many ships and implants have been lost this way.

Finding regular fleets

Homefront ops run nearly daily around Rens. Some are scheduled on E-UNI’s Discord, while others are hosted spontaneously and recruit through external in-game Homefront channels.

Join an announced fleet on Discord led by an E-UNI fleet commander, or watch for fleet ads in the Agency window and request to join

Alternatively, you can also join external Homefront community channels—such as Homefront Operations or Homefront Runners—and announce that you’re LFG.
External In-game Chat Channels
Finally, you can create your own homefront fleet. Please read how to find homefront sites and how to lead a homefront fleet for more information.

One of the most popular ops are the Raid homefronts, using Caldari cruisers and missile skills. Still, you’re free to experiment, and we’ve gathered intel on all Homefront operations to help you get started.

Communication

We strongly encourage all participants to make use of our Discord server during fleet operations. While the use of a microphone is optional, the ability to hear Fleet Commander instructions is essential for effective coordination.

Ship fittings

We provide recommended fittings designed specifically for one of the following Homefront engagements.

Please note that these fittings are for a specific Homefront only, as damage profiles and electronic warfare requirements vary across other missions.

Look for the in-game channel Homefront Fits (EVE Uni) to find our latest version of fits for the following homefronts easily staged out of Rens.

Homefront fleet etiquette

Please take note of fleet etiquette to keep the experience efficient and enjoyable for everyone.

Give notice if you plan to leave fleet soon—avoid dropping a cold “this will be my last site” mid-mission.
Stay actively involved while flying the homefront. If you lose focus or start slacking (e.g., haulers warp off), consider letting someone else replace you in the fleet..
Always check if comms are being used and join them. No microphone required, but being able to hear callouts is a huge help for the FC.
Retire from any faction warfare to reduce the risk of ship loss.
Set your safety to green to prevent accidental friendly fire.
When joining a fleet, link your fit in fleet chat for verification by Logi or FC. Be open to small adjustments—no fit is set in stone.
When joining a new fleet, minimize travel time by avoiding autopilot and using a fast frigate or shuttle to reach staging quickly. This helps reduce the time others have to wait for you.
