The objective of Metaliminal Meteoroid sites is to mine out the large central asteroid while being attacked by hostiles. The hostiles do not need to be killed to complete the site.

The asteroid contains 3,~~500~~ units (14,000{{m3}}) of one of five mutanite ore types. This ore can be sold to NPC buyers in the region for an additional ~~17.5~~ million ISK. Residue (such as on Miner IIs) will help complete the site quicker at the cost of some lost ore.
