I don't think there is any reason for the page to be coy about it -- we should not assume a new player understands everything they are reading, what a corporation title is, nor expect them to read between the lines. Things should be as simple and as clear as possible -- we are supposed to be serving new players, not vets who already understand these things. The WHC is part of the in-game corp E-Uni. Removed Old discussion to correspond with new Wiki update.
Wormhole Community Ship Fittings
With fits now in Alliance Auth, should this be updated to point there for latest/current fits?
Skill Training Rewards
WHC Skill Training Rewards is an orphaned page that should probably be linked here at some point.
- 2023-12-19 - The Skill Training Rewards page is now archived so it appears that the program is no longer running?
Joining WHC
There should be an explanation that one must first be a member of E-Uni, and a link to our join page.
Either under "What is the WHC?" section: "The Wormhole Community is an.... To join the WHC you must first be a member of the E-Uni corporation. Join here."
OR under "Joining the WHC" secion. "To join the WHC you must first be a member of the E-Uni corporation. Join here."
- I might be wrong, but a far as I know you need to be a member of a corporation to be able to have a title of that corporation. The "Joining the WHC" section gives "Freshman" as a required title. I admit, it does not explicitly says you need to be a member of EVE-Uni though. And under "Apply Here" I see a link to the application form. -- Evon R'al (talk) 14:29, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
- Nowhere on the WHC application form does it state that a player should be a member of E-Uni, nor offer any links to information about the corp, or how to apply. What reason could there be for NOT mentioning this? We should not be assuming new players visiting our wiki already know this, or expect them to figure it out on their own. -- Jindo Lee (talk) 16:04, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
