<!-- Pre-written descriptive script explaining how to do the thing/what it is. -->The station instant-undock relies on a mechanic known as the limited invulnerability timer, a period of 10 seconds after exiting a station during which you are invulnerable, cannot be bumped, and are effectively out of phase with other ships - allowing you to pass through them. However, if you do anything other than stop your ship the invulnerability immediately ends; which means if you have to re-align you become a target So, the goal is to have a bookmark directly ahead of you which allows you to warp away, at full speed, during the ten seconds allotted by the invulnerability timer.

Making an instant undock is relatively easy, provided the system you're in is presently safe. When you undock, you exit the station at full speed mostly aligned (±2%) with the station's absolute undock vector; the direction it faces. To create a station instant undock warpout bookmark you get in as fast a ship as you can fit, align yourself perfectly off that station's exit - or as close as you can get - and you burn in that direction at high speed until you're out of the station grid (~8,000 km). Keep in mind, for some (notably Amarr) stations, the exit vector is directly downwards. Once you're off the local grid, just drop a bookmark by holding Control and pressing 'B'. (Ctrl+B) This is your warpout bookmark.

'''Note:''' Using the tactical overlay makes it much easier to determine where absolute zero off the undock is. The goal is to get as close to zero deviation as possible. It's important to practice using the bookmark once you've created it, and the best test of the instant undock is if you can do it successfully in a slow-aligning industrial vessel or a mining barge.
