Politeness is virtue and is best expressed as the practical application of good manners or etiquette. It is a culturally defined phenomenon, and therefore what is considered polite in one culture can sometimes be quite rude or simply strange in another cultural context.
Certain gestures are common between many cultural contexts. The culture of the EVE Online community is no different in that regard, and expected gestures among most capsuleers are covered.
Literature Material
Often as a formal organization of people soar in membership, a person in leadership will have most likely composed literatures that should answer most of the common questions asked by newcomers. Having room for the more interesting questions and answers will greatly benefit everyone.
