Serpentis Secrets is an expedition that escalates from Serpentis Provincial HQ and can lead into both low-sec and null-sec regions.
Walkthrough
This escalation consists of four parts.
First Part
The first room is ungated, meaning you can warp around in it, and people can warp directly to you.
If Shadow Serpentis is there: kill him, possibly get escalation. Else (or If didn't get escalation): Use acceleration gate, possibly get escalation.

First room
In local upon entry: |
---|
Ours De Soin: Good to see you decided to come. I can not promise you any payment if you take on these Serpentis bases, but you will earn fame among the locals and the fortune the Serpentis leave behind. I'm going to send a couple of my spy drones to see if the Serpentis are still where they were yesterday. |
Entering this room can trigger the escalation.
In the room you find a lot of Siloes and a structure/ship called "Ours De Soin".
Escalation message: |

Your communication instruments finally come alive as the Serpentis contact who hired you starts talking on the private channel. Even though the area was empty, he commends you on a job well done and gives you directions to the next assassination target. |
Second Location
In local upon entry: |
---|
Control Center Operator: More intruders! Maybe they're connected with the spy drones we just destroyed. I bet CONCORD sent them! Take care of them mates! |
This site consists of one ungated room.
The enemies are grouped in in four separate groups. You spawn in the middle of them.
The two statis towers webs you to a halt, making you take A LOT of damage, and the damping makes them hard to hit. This can make the site hard to survive.

"We sure did show them! You sure are better than no one to have around when the missiles are flying! But there is no time to float here fabulating, we must press on, another division of this same group is close by!" |
Third Location
In local: |
---|
As you enter, you see your friend several hundred kilometers off target, complaining about something being rotten in the hydraulic systems. With the Serpentis on the other hand, it seems like all systems are go. |
From Ours De Soin: |
---|
I hope you will manage without me, but I am going to check the next and last target. It is a central station for the local Serpentis. We don't want them to get away. I will hold them busy till you arrive! |
This site is yet another ungated pocket. You spawn 100km from the NPCs and the two web-towers makes the travel to the station very slow, while the damp makes hitting anything hard.
If you get the Shadow Serpentis Battleship to spawn, kill it for the escalation. If not, destroy the station.
The Siege Sentries does a lot of damage, but they are only two. Clear the area of rats before you engage the station.

"I'll keep them busy till you arrive!" He sounds optimistic, but the only way he's going to hold them back is with colorful language. Your computer provides you with the coordinates and you can already hear the sounds of battle coming through the channel. |
Fourth and Last Location
Access: Gateless, Open Access
This site is extremely difficult, and can require 3-4 people in very tough ships. The site contains 4 waves, and if you manage to spawn 2 at once, the site is near impossible.
The four waves trigger when you attack the station (wave 1), when it reaches 50% shields (wave 2), at 25% shield (wave 3), and when it goes into armor (wave 4).
Kill the frigates, then the web-towers, then the siege blasters and then the rest.
This wave spawn about 250km from the station, close to the warp-in location. They are spread in 4 groups.
An easy and fast wave that spawns about 200km from the station.

This was a hard fight and even though your friend didn't fire many shots, he did his best to call them. Gutsy little fellow. You would think that by now he should have used half of all superlatives in the English language to describe your victory, but surprisingly enough he is dead silent there where he is orbiting the remains of this holy space. Close inspection reveals that he has taken a direct hit and even though his ship looks intact, all the airlocks have been blasted out and either he must have died from the explosion, or he is lying there frozen from the exposure. It is kind of sad... not that you will miss him personally, but you can be darn sure that if he had lived to run around and tell the story, you would have been a legendary hero 24 hours from now. |
