Do we have a preference for US or UK spelling of words? I reversed Smurf's changes of organisation to the american spelling on the basis we're already using UK spelling of armour in this entry and it seemed silly to mix it up.
I have no issue *cough uk is right cough* with which style is adopted throughout the wiki - but I think we aught to aim for consistency, by picking one style. Targh D'yer
One of the technical issues with wikis is that it's a pain to change a page name once it's set. This is inevitably going to lead to mixed spelling on page names. And, of course, we have contributors from a wide variety of backgrounds, with a variety of spell-checking settings. (And I built a bunch of the Armour tanking page with my own mid-Atlantic mishmash of spelling choices...)
In a less rambling manner: We're going to have inconsistencies. If you want to make spelling consistent on a page, go for it -- but I think you're trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon. John Haldane
