After contemplating it for months with Ed. Director, we've decided to weed out classes which were mechanics-focused and out of date (most of them, it turns out). A video-based library of recorded classes is in development (cross your fingers!). Until the new system is put in place, this page shouldn't be featured prominently on the sidebar as our "Class library." Even though there is a disclaimer at the top of the page, it is misleading and should be temporarily dropped (for the next few years) until a new class library is actually developed and implemented. It is misleading to the average new member looking for classes -- and there is no reason to promote a program that doesn't yet exist.
I'd recommend renaming this page "Special Lectures" since that is what it is (mostly of historical interest) and linking to it from https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Welcome_to_EVE_University or perhaps the bottom of https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Classes
Until we actually have a class library, the link on the sidebar should be changed to "Classes" and link to Classes. Jindo Lee (talk) 08:38, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
