What is the Communications Department

EVE University aims to provide an inclusive training environment for the community to learn about EVE Online.

To fulfil this goal, the Communication Department supports the CEO and Director of Operations by

  1. Managing EVE University’s social media
  2. Promoting and maintaining EVE University’s external image
  3. Providing University Departments with creative services and communication tools

If you are interested in copy-writing or editing, graphics design, videography or animations, active on social media or have similar interests, consider applying to the department. Fill out the application form and the Communications Manager will reach out to you.

Communications Management

The Communications Management oversees EVE University's Communications Officers and freelance contributors, plans its communications strategy with the CEO and Director of operations and supports other EVE University departments with their communications work.

Communication Officers

The Communication Officers of EVE University are a group of dedicated volunteers that regularly contribute to the different areas of communications work and have a special role in representing EVE University externally. They are the first point of contact for any Unista wanting to publish or promote their activities to a broader uni-internal or external audience. Do not hesitate to reach out to them via Discord, the EVE University Forum or simply ingame.

You are very welcome to check out our Social Media accounts and share and engage as much as you want to.

You can find our Twitter account here http://twitter.com/EVEUniversity, where we post events, news and similar items of interest, as well as smacktalk engage in Light-Hearted Banter™ with other corporations & alliances.

We also have a Facebook page, where you can find Event announcements as well.

Contribute

Everyone can contribute to promoting EVE University. The simplest way of supporting us is by talking about your experience at EVE University and by guiding players on how to apply to the Uni.

Write for EVE University's blog

The best way to share your experience is to write for the E-Uni blog?

We welcome contributions from any capsuleer on any appropriate subject, including but not limited to:

  • Player Stories (especially from newer capsuleers!)
  • News of upcoming events
  • Reports of recent events
  • After-action reports of major E-UNI engagements
  • Opinion pieces on aspects (or changes) to EVE Online may also be submitted, although these should be well-thought-out and insightful, and should state that you are writing as an individual and your opinions may not reflect those of EVE University.

Articles for the front page should

  • stick to the point,
  • use short paragraphs,
  • may contain images,
  • and must be properly spelled and grammaticized.

Members of the Comms Department will gladly help with meeting the criteria and making your post as shiny as possible.

To submit a post, simply write your text in your preferred text editor (ideally an easily accessible cloud solution like Google Docs) and share it with Hippla Tsero (preferably via any E-UNI Discord channel or Twitter). Do not worry about getting your spelling & grammar perfect, it will be corrected if any errors are found!
