Starting out in EVE university. Immediately war is declared so I am studying.
Plan on careers of: mining, agent contracts and exploring in that order. See Eve Career Guide. Then set up a chart of 6 career measures. For each one show interest level. For example: if you want money then say >3, no danger then <3, go group interaction: <2 Now rate each career. The ones that get a 6 are your best choices. Then rate those on what is needed to get started so that min investment is the first one.
Still at war so listening to classes. If I ever teach here find out how to put log of chat session into a downloadable file in addition to the audio. Links and names are important.
Important notes:
1. wartime SOP needs version for new players. Current version is incomprehensible.
2. create an alt to use during wartime.
