Community Content Initiative: Difference between revisions

'''All''' members of [[EVE University]] are free to participate in the '''Community Content Initiative''' previously known as Cross Campus Initiative, also known as CCI program. This also includes staff (All staff are encouraged to give this a go!). The CCI is currently under the Student Administration Department and the current CCI Program Manager is [[User:Croixant|Croixant]].

== Program Requirements ==

To complete the CCI Program you must:

* Participate in a total twenty (20) scheduled [[#Content Generating Activities|content generation activities]] across at least four (4) different communities or areas of space. (High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec, Wormhole/Pochven, Incursion)

* Participate in at least five (5) content scheduled generation activities per community or area of space.

* Coordinate or lead at least eight (8) scheduled content generation activities split between at least four (4) different communities. (You must also participate in these activities)

* Activities in each community should be spread over at at least one (1) week. No more than one (1) activity per day will count.

* Document each event with a forum post, AAR (for PVP), or Discord ping (for Incursions).

* Compete all required activities within a year of starting. (If you require additional time, contact the CCI Manager).

To reiterate, content generation and participation are the emphasis of the CCI program.

Content generation activities that count towards the meeting the requirements of the CCI program include but are not limited to:

* Joining (or better yet FC'ing) PvP, STRATOP (management approved structure defense or bash), mission, abyssal, incursion, or mining fleets in game.

* Teaching classes centered around a community, area of space, or major activities that go on there.

For content activities to count towards the CCI program requirements they must to be planned ahead and posted in the calendar and/or the forum or discord ping channels as appropriate. QRF fleets and other spontaneously organized content and activities do not count towards meeting the CCI program requirements.

Activities must be scheduled and advertised in the in game calendar and Eve University Forum otherwise these activities will not count toward CCI Program progress with the exception of Incursion Community content (other than classes) as long as the fleet is formed in accordance with the [[EUNIC: Forming a fleet|community's standard procedures]].

* Planned content that are depart or form out of our Headquarters in Stacmon will be credited based on what area of space (High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec) that the activity primarily takes place in.  

* Planned content primarily taking place within [[Pochven]] region will count as a Wormhole Community activity.

* Planned content departing from WHC's home in Innuendo and proceeding "down chain" into k-space as part of the activity counts as Wormhole Activity

In the case planned content is roughly split across communities or areas of space (Ex. A Intro to Industry Couse That Covers Both High and Null Sec), the participant shall a single category of their preference to the credit for the activity.

Most CCI participants will have to coordinate content in communities where they are not current content generators. CCI participants are strongly encouraged to contact the [[Community Coordinators]] of the respective communities when beginning to plan an event to meet the leadership requirements of the CCI program if they do not have experience in that community or area of space. These pilots have graciously volunteered to serve as the points of contact for their respective communities and will assist CCI participants with an introduction to the community, etiquette, and current and planned activities and/or events in order to ensure successful events that are fun for all participants and mitigate any unintentional consequences.

 

 

 

Additionally interested Unistas are encouraged to attend an a Introduction to CCI class which are offered on a routine basis for more information on the program and its requirements.
