Mission briefing
We recently found a number of new mining fields in adjacent systems, and the usual assortment of pirate trash has come out of the woodwork to exploit it. We'll need them mined soon because even those thieving bastards have friends in places high enough to put the legal status of these sites in doubt. For some reason they've taken an interest even in Banidine, too, and we'll need to find out why; all my workers are busy with the more profitable fields, but I'm not taking any chances.

I'm uploading a bookmark to your People & Places databank; it shows the location of a Banidine mining operation. I need you to head out there and mine all the Banidine — should be 18,000 units, my foreman tells me. Once we've made an undisputed claim, we're free to mine there again without interference, and I'll provide you with a little something for your trouble.

Asteroids
WD EWAR L

Asteroid 10 x Banidine Mission objective

The amount of ore per asteroid is pretty low(100-260 m3), so it might be a good idea to short-cycle your mining modules.

As in all mining operations belt rats may randomly spawn.
