This is where you add any chat channels you'd like to have. All the large corporations in Eve and Dust have a public channel and DUST University is no exception. Ours is '''Chat.D-UNI'''. It's not password protected and is available to Mercs and Eve pilots of any corp to chat. Highlight with the d=pad, press x and type in the name of the channel you want to join. You can even create your own.

==UVT (Universal Voice Transmitter)==
As mentioned previously, a source of confusion is that a UVT, purchased with [[Aurum|Aurum]] in the in game Marketplace, is required for '''ALL''' Voice Chat. This is, as explained above, not true.
So what does a UVT do?
It allows Voice Chat in Corp (not Local) and any other player created channels such as '''Chat.D-UNI'''. And thats all.
Why have it?
Well, why type if you can speak? It's a matter of personal taste to buy a UVT and it has no impact on your ability to play should you not do so.
You'll notice at the top of the chat channels a box with UVT in it. If you purchased one, here is where you'll see when its due to run out. UVT's have a time limited use.
