Previously, the University used to maintain a separate section of rules that applied in wartime. This is no longer true. The WSOP is no longer a set of rules which used to come into force during wartime. It is now a resource pointing you in the direction of valuable wartime information and tips.
High security wars are serious and could easily lead to the loss of your ship and pod. It is YOUR responsibility to learn to protect yourself from being unwilling victims of the war targets. The University will not protect you, but it will teach you to protect yourself. These survival skills will be invaluable in EVE Online.
You are encouraged to read our tips on how to survive during wartime and our guidelines for travel advisories. It is highly suggested that new applicants read the tips for war before joining. Surviving during wartime takes strategies to minimize risk.
